Major Speed Improvement

Going from an HDD to an SDD is a no brainer. The speed in retrieving files, the speed period, is incredible.
I did a ton of research, the 850 Pro is top of line.
Easy to install as well.
Pros: fast

Now that Samsung has awesome, lightening fast, OEM & Retail, AHCI & NVME PCIe Gen2 & GEN3
M.2 SSDs available to prosumers, these once considered fast, now legacy SATA3 SSDs' like the top rated Samsung 850 Pro SSD make great secondary storage SSDs'.
I have an awesome OEM 512GB Samsung SM951 PCIe Gen3 (AHCI) M.2 OS SSD in my G751JY notebook along with a 1TB Samsung 850Pro SSD in the secondary drive bay for storage. Samsung SSDs' are the fastest, most reliable and simply the best!

Very fast SDD

Going from an HDD to this beast of an SSD really proved to be the single best thing I could do for my somewhat older PC. Now the boot time is super fast and loading everything in my DAW is super fast even with all the VST that I have in there.

what a screaming hard drive best I have ever used way to go samsung!!!!!

Best drive, the extra small features like v-nand, 10yr warranty, great power efficiency & great read/write speeds are awesome, theres a reason samsung is a company others have to try to keep up with.
Only downside these days is still pricing on ssd's. Please do your best to hurry up and lower cost of ssd's samsung, i would love to buy a 1terabyte, heck (2) 1tb drives, but solid state drives are still to pricey for the higher capacities all around the board. The moment it comes down a tad i will be buying samsung once again.
Pros: Durable, Lightweight, simple design

I got this ssd because it the best sata ssd you can get and because it's 10 year warranty you can transfer a lot of data with the same performance as when it was new.
