Loved how sleek the design of the SSD was when I opened the Samsung 850 Pro package. Installed painlessly into my PS4. Having an extra 12 GB doesn't hurt either. Awesome product.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight, sleek design

Three cell phones and two SSD drives later, the future looks great for technology from Samsung. I believe in research and due diligence when it comes to finding products. That said, Samsung comes out on top, leaving the competition behind them.

Very fast drive, needs better encryption information

I have used several Samsung SSD drives. They are very fast and reliable. The newer drives are supposed to have Full Disk Encryption but implementation instructions (for all SSDs) is sketchy, at best. Samsung would really shine if they provided more thorough information about FDE implementation.
Pros: fast
Cons: lack of documentation

I installed this product as an upgrade from my 500GB HD. It was easy to install. I did it myself, and I'm not what you'll call tech-savvy. My boot time increased tremendously, as well as start time for programs.
Overall, it's a great product.
Only complaint I have is the cost, but it's been worth it.

The Samsung 850 PRO SSD 512gb is amazing. Lightning fast, over the top read and write times.
I do not think there is a better unit on the market, this device receives amazing reviews and I can say my machine runs great with it.

Super Fast Samsung SSD 850 PRO

Bought this Samsung 850 Pro SSD to upgrade my Macbook Pro 13" mid 2012 and the performance and speed is fantastic.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight, fast, 10 year warranty
