Had issues with the clone software but wanted to do a clean install anyway and went like clock work.

What can I say, it was well reviewed. It worked on installation. The price was competitive. It looks pretty nice but I guess that doesn't really matter since it's hidden inside my pc case.
There's no negatives to speak off.
Pros: best in class

I installed this SSD in my PS4 to take my gaming to the next level. Installed without issue and cut load times by a half. Can't wait to put it through it paces with the new games coming out.

Works well but I had a problem with transfer

Appears to be a good quality unit and works well. The online seller advertised a 10 year warranty! That influenced me to pay more for it than other brands. When I registered it, the factory site showed only a one year warranty! I emailed the well known sellers customer service and asked what was correct. Who would be responsible after one year? They agreed the ad said 10 years, and would look into who would be responsible. That was a couple of weeks ago. Oh well, maybe it will never be an issue.
Transfer of system and files from the old drive was easy, using the included program, but when installed, the new drive would not boot up it had a" Boot Record Error"! A common problem with this operation. Luckily I had previously made a Rescue Disk using a free backup software. It had a Boot Record Fixer feature and that took care of the problem. I think Samsung should include a "Boot Record Fixer " in their Transfer Program!

Super fast, no complaints, reliable, lots of space, response time is very impressive. I bought this for an upgrade for my laptop prior to my Win 10 upgrade, and, it has performed at every level that I have wanted. The Magician software is great for customizing profiles for specific setups you crave. The Rapid mode is BLAZING FAST, and, if you are looking for an all around solution, the 850 Pro series is the way to go!!
Pros: Inexpensive

Just plain works

Had a ssd fall out of a raid 5 array . That manufacturer no longer makes same model . Bought this to replace since RMA was taking forever . Did not even have to format . Plugged in , turned on , and the array was rebuilt in SEVENTEEN SECONDS !!! Going to replace the rest with these ASAP . Happy to have made this decision.

Although the migration software did not install on my first attempt, it did on the second and then went very smooth. I installed it on 12/08/2015 and so far everything is perfect. The only glitch was that I had to reactivate my Windows Product ID which also went smoothly. THIS DRIVE IS A SCREAMER!!! When I booted my laptop with the HDD, I could go have lunch, brush my teeth and take a nap in the time it took to boot up and shut down. This drive is well worth the money and I would highly recommend to anyone to purchase and install this drive. This is my first SSD and I can't compare it to other SSD(s), only my old HDD. Go for it!
Pros: Inexpensive, fast, installation a breeze, super warranty
