Great kettle!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a simple but elegant design, with technical details that are very appealing to me. Base allows the cord to be stored so it's an appropriate length, kettle can sit down any way within the circle of the base without fumbling around. I have had this kettle for a while now and I am very satisfied with my purchase. A few reviews were not as great and I was very hesitant to order. It seemed that some people had rust problems after a few month. I leave the lid open to ensure that the moisture can escape after boiling water and I never leave any water in it. The hot kettle dries that way pretty quick and it prevents the rust.
I would recommend this to a friend!

great kettle untill it rusted

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this kettle 5 months ago from crate and barrel and its rusted on top so badly I can barely open the top of the kettle. I wish I would've known this would happen. It's trash now.

Stylish and effective Water Kettle

I purchased this kettle years ago after seeing similar ones on a trip to Ireland. I bought this one because it is colorful, stylish, and fits into the decor of my kitchen. It has performed flawlessly now for the past 7 years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this kettle, especially the color what matches our KithenAid toaster. It heats water fast and doesn't get hot - only the separate plate underneath heats up. I just wish there was no plastic inside.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The water boils quickly, however the kettle gives it an unpleasant odor which I have not been able to eradicate. I have used only only about a dozen of times, and washed it innumerably. The odor remains unchaned.

Used to love it for all of 2 months

Thought it was kinda spendy for an electric tea kettle, but my last tea kettle had findly given out after 5 years of faithful daily service. I like the way it looked, so bought it. And it has worked great until today. It has just stopped heating up. It gets luke warm, but not hot like it should.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this kettle!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Kitchenaid kettle. I had one someone did something very stupid and ruined it. (Put in on stovetop to heat water.) I loved it so much that I immediately ordered another. The exact same one in my favorite color:red. It heats water so fast and its so pretty. I’d order another if this one gets ruined. I also have a stand mixer by Kitchenaid that I’ve had for a long time and wouldn’t be without one.
