If it were flexible it would be easier and cleaner to remove and replace the lid.
Otherwise it is a great addition to our kitchen which we use numerous times daily. An excellent product.

Great for a quick morning cup of tea, french press coffee or hot chocolate. Heats very quickly. Stays warm and shuts off automatically so I don't worry about leaving it on. Love it!
