LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this duel-fuel range: My DREAM RANGE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We debated for a long time about whether or not to install gas so that we could have a duel-fuel GE Cafe range. We are so happy that we did. Even though it was an extra expense to run the gas line, it was SO worth it. We love the power burner. It heats up everything quite quickly and it also simmers very well. The oven is consistently right on and the extra baking drawer is also a big plus. We also got the GE Cafe over the range microwave that is a convection oven as well and we love it too. Good job GE!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the third stove I have had delivered. The first one was the floor model, which I was not informed I was receiving. The second one had over spray in the oven. The bottom of the oven felt like sand paper. Now I have the third one. This one has a black GE insignia, my microwave has a red insignia. I'm tired of dealing with the people I bought it from, got lots of negative attitudes from them and their delivery person. I sticking with the two different Insignia's. Other wise I've been happy with my new oven.

Stylish range with great performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Power boil is great. Burner with simmer is also great. Center griddle is a bit small to be useful have not used the lower smaller oven.
Oven is great, takes a little time to get used to the electronics.
Have used self cleaning and probe functions both work well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love my new range!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've owned this for about a month now and I am absolutely in love. The only issue so far is that it wasn't heating hot enough, but that is easily fixed so no big deal. The convection is nothing short of awesome for baked goods but the range top is by far my favorite feature. Water boils incredibly fast on the two front burners and the heat is distributed very evenly (when boiling, it looks different than when using our previous, lesser model of gas cooktop) - there are no hotter or cooler spots. And the rear right burner - super low heat for heating delicate items is great. Very happy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All of the elements on the cook top provide accurate, even heat, the warmer element is especially useful both as a warmer and as an additional cooking element. The convection oven holds temperature evenly and is very accurate, no more turning the cookie sheets or cake pans halfway through the cooktime. Roasts and braised dishes come out excellent. I have not used the bottom baking drawer yet but I know it will be put to good use as a warming drawer or a place to bake the rolls when we have a crowd over for dinner. I wish that the designers of the range would have made the timer alarm much, much louder. Or, how about this, with all the on board electronics this range already has, couldn't you provide a programmable volume control for the alarm? I also do not use the cast iron griddle that came with the range; I'm just too worried about dropping that heavyweight on the glass top. I have been using an Emeril non-stick griddle which spans the two left side burners and that works just great for making large breakfasts. The control that combines the two burners maintains an even temperature for the entire griddle. I researched a wide variety of ranges from different manufacturers and I am very satisfied with my decision to purchase the GE Cafe range.
