Great Range

We had been wanting to update from electric to gas for years and got the opportunity to do so last year. Looked at gas ranges for months, first of all to find the model we wanted then a dealer and price. The GE Cafe series with electric ovens (dual fuel) and with it's semi commercial, clean design. caught our attention. Read all of the reviews possible and noted a problem with the knobs "melting". However this problem didn't come up in any recent reviews, and appears to have been fixed. The range was on a 3 week back order. We have had the range for 4 months now and haven't had any problems. It works perfectly. It does require a little extra care and attention to keep it clean. The stainless steel top is very soft and scratches easily. "If you want it done right , do it yourself" So I've taken over cleaning chore ...the wife loves that!
Excellent stove, a little pricy, but shop around and take your time.

I love this stove! Fast reaction gas cook top, convection electric oven. Convection self adjusts temperature from normal bake to convection. And EASY TO CLEAN cooktop!

Cafe Dual Fuel Range

I purchased this range 2 months ago and have been very happy with it. Love the dual fuel, love how quickly the gas top cooks things. The only thing that I wouldn't rate highly about it is the middle grill option; it doesn't seem to cook evenly.

Great features and looks beautiful

We bought this when we remodeled our kitchen and I couldn't be happier. Didn't think I needed the warming drawer and now I can't life without it. The burners are fantastic. Love the power boil feature! Oven space is large enough to accommodate a big turkey or baking several items at once.

Beautiful remodel, Great Appliances

Late in 2013 I completed a complete remodle of my home. I wanted to make sure that my appliances fit the remodel, and I went with higher end materials. My GE Cafe applainces have been great and fit in great with the rest of my home.
I expected these appliances to be good. I was surprised at how good they are.
