GE cafe series range is fantastic

I bought the GE Cafe duel fuel range 10 months ago, so far it is fantastic! I love being able to use both the upper and lower ovens. The normal size oven on top lets me bake heavy items without picking them up off the floor as some double ovens do. The lower oven warming tray is great when I need it. The stove top burners are wonderful for the temp. control. I can simmer or quick boil. I love the duel fuel allowing me to use propane on the cook top and bake with electric. We did need to get a electrician to upgrade our wiring. The only con is it takes a long time for the oven to preheat. Something I can love with.

Dual fuel utility

I purchased the GE Cafe Series dual fuel range almost 1 year ago. It has several features I looked for in a new range: dual fuel; accurate temperatures in oven; warming drawer; center burner/griddle.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Totally satisfied with our purchase. Love the small lower oven for just the 2 of us. The "griddle" burner is a must for more than just pancakes/etc. This was our best buy for a new kitchen!!

My first gas stove and I love it!

We bought our GE Cafe gas range about 6 months ago from a local independent appliance store. Considering we had to fit it into an existing space we had to go with a smaller model than my dream range.The range looks very upscale and functions great and so happy to have a real simmer. We cook most of our meals so it gets lots of use and love the big side grates that come off as one big piece for easy clean up. We were disappointed in the griddle as it's aluminum with a teflon coating. I thought it was cast iron and scratched it the first time I made pancakes for my grandchildren. So I no longer use it as aluminum and teflon are not healthy for cooking. I was disappointed not to get the traditional broiler pan with a new oven. Overall it's a great value.
