So far so good. nice print quality and easy set up except the set up disk was cracked. The download from the support site was fast and easy.

Printing Problems after 6 months

I like this printer very much. It seems to use ink faster than I expected, based upon promotion by Epson. This may be due to the initial use of the original cartridges which are presumably much smaller in capacity than the replacement, XL cartridges.
However, I had an initial problem when more than two pages fed through the paper feeder and it jammed. For a short while I had repeated issues with jammed paper warnings. I think it turned out to be a piece of paper that got left behind.
The real problem I had was intermittent poor printing with the black cartridge. About every fourth line was blurred and messy. All cleaning and alignment troubleshooting did not improve the printing to an acceptable level. We ran the cleaning two more times with problems that remained. So Epson, after a short call and trouble shooting effort agreed to replace my machine with a remanufactured unit. I was assured that the critical parts would be new. I should receive a new printer in one day, I was told and I am required to ship it back to Epson at no cost to me. So their warranty service was great. I just hope the product proves to be more reliable than my initial experience might reflect.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice machine easy hook-up we are not in full swing as far as use goes but I don't for see any problems, prints fast receives fast connection to internet was easy.

The printer was easy to install and set up. The network connection (for both my computer and smart phone) was also simple.
It prints with good quality and speed.
The passage of time will build my overall opinion of this printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Epson Work Force Pro WF-4640 is a good printer. It prints big documents quickly. It has one draw back and that is that you have to keep an eye on the printer when it prints large print jobs. After about 10 to 15 printed pages you have to empty the printed page tray so that the document you are printing does not get mixed up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

you cannot scan a document into it!!!

I'm not happy with the product because I'm unable to scan documents into it and then into my computer. I've followed all of the steps that I know of and still I cannot scan a doc into my computer! I'm very disappointed in this performance!!
