Much better than the predecessor!

We bought 3 of the previous models, the 4540's they didn't do so well with reliability nor did they have a touch screen. This 4640 is GREAT! We need two trays and a smaller form factor for this office mainly because of RX paper on second tray and limited desk space so this line is perfect! I hope they don't discontinue the concept

Cost of repair exceeds replacement cost

A little over a year old and the printer heads have clogged and the print head cleaning routine will not resolve the problem. I have always used Epson ink. Tech support could only suggest sending it out for repair. Since it is not under warranty the cost shipping and repair exceed the cost of replacement. It worked great until the print heads clogged up. Now it is just an expensive paper weight.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ordered from Amazon and basically received it within a few days of ordering via UPS at 48 lbs. It was packaged very nice and was so ever easy to set-up, install the software/drivers and have it print within no time. I like the new ink cartridges compared to other brand printers. The extra drawer for paper is super.

Best Multi-Function Printer I have ever used.

This machine is designed for more use than I give it. I liked the features and it was on sale. I used coupons and a trade in. This made it competitive with lesser machines. It is fast and easy to setup and use. The ink dries very fast. The print quality is excellent. Photos printed are just as good as or better than the output of so called photo printers.

Exceptionally smooth setup. This printer is very solid. Display screen beautiful. Ordered online by research and now that it is here in place printing via USB and Wi-Fi I'm immeasurably impressed ! Go buy this printer you will be very happy you did !

Great all in one printer

The WF Pro WF-4640 is a great all in one printer. Love the two large paper trays and the fact that you can print 4X6 and 5X7 photographs from the rear paper slot without having to remove paper in tray.
