The cables did the job we needed. We needed to connect Larger 3.5" HD's to an external RAID box that had 2.5" HD's. The connectors connected to the Backplane of the external RAID device and the other end connected to the 3.5" HD's. The only thing we needed to do is modify the power requirements for the larger HD's.
Good stuff!

Installed as planned, had bays for the standard ide/sata drives with drive support bracket that could not be modified to accommodate SDD's used the cable from backplane of HDD sata drive to new sdd for better security. On supermicro X7DA8 mother board (server)
