not what I expected

Not what I saw on computer screen at store. The freezer (on computer screen) had a freezer alarm, on light, interior light, and lock. Not on the freezer I received. All these are options. Perhaps this is the fault of the salesman but it looks like a cheap product. Really! no "on" light. Also the guts (motor and tubes are hanging out by about two inches. No screen cover over motor and parts??? Is this even safe? Plastic baskets inside..I wonder how long these will last. Plastic becomes very brittle when frozen. Feet? What feet..two are round bumps and the other two feet are L shaped corners. these are made to slide on carpets and I'll have to adapt something for the feet to slide on concrete (for cleaning). I wonder how cheap this is. Proud to advertise "Amana" and "made in usa" I thought, this is good...mmm...thought wrong :( On the good side. I am guessing it will consume less energy
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this freezer about a month ago. It holds all my deer meat (3 deer). Also ice cream with no problem. The baskets work good for the vegetables and fruit from my garden.

Called my favorite appliance place and they delivered this freezer immediately! It is so quiet and very attractive. Now I am looking at our 42 year old 22 cu ft freezer which we will be replacing it with a new Freezer. Your product is great! Peace of mind!

I had a hard time finding a "replacement" (based on size) for the chest freezer I had owned for 18 years.....either too small or too big. This is perfect and is exactly the size, cubic feet and dimensions that I wanted. This one has 2 baskets vs. only one in my previous freezer which is great!
