This cartridge was necessary for my wife's computer, but I feel that this cartridge and ink in general has gotten way too expensive. I would like to see HP come up with refilled cartridges under their logo that are more affordable. The home computer user is in need of some consideration.

I buy this cartridge periodically for my little old HP 3740 Deskjet which I bought twelve years ago. Still works like a dream- great colors - and is extremely precise. I have even run the same artwork through it a second time to add an element, and it comes out perfectly!!!

Bought a HP-27 and HP-29 to reactivate an old printer for my Lodge. Both cartridges work as anticipated with very satisfactory quality print, especially from a printer that is one or two "generations" old! Very satisfied.

I am always on the lookout for this cartridge, as it is no longer available in stores. It makes me happy that HP still has them. I like HP 28 tricolor because it does an excellent print job. The colors are true. I don't generally make recommendations, but I would for this cartridge.
