[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago to replace an 15 year old model. It has far more room then the same size one I replaced. The door shelves hold so much then the old one. Was going to get a second freezer for the basement to keep bread in but have extra room with everything in it and things are so much easier to find. Also very quiet and does not run as often as others

This is my first stand alone freezer and I'm loving it! Visibility is super and helps me find items and make selections easily. No more foods hiding in the back going undiscovered for long periods. No more stooping and scrounging around. I am convinced this is the maximum value for the money. Being made in America also pleases me greatly. If the door only had a lock, it would be perfect! Congrats to the designers!

I wanted to give it a 5 but the shelves have no stop in front , my food will fall out when I try to get items in back.. It is a real freezer that stays cold just right . (a stop at end would be more of my opinion.)

I like the additional shelves in the door to store small items. Also, there is no drawer at the bottom so you can lay your meats and things out where you can easily see what you have.

For the size and price you can't go wrong. Replaced a 45 year old Amana with this new model and so far we've been very satisfied. It's so quiet, that we had to keep checking it to make sure it was still running. It has simple controls, easy to adjust shelves and the light is a plus.

Our old freezer gave up the ghost, and we have an Amana refrigerator we've been very happy with, so I decided to get a matching freezer. I looked at other brands, but the Amana seemed to be the perfect fit for our house. It's bigger on the inside than you'd guess from looking at the outside, and we're very happy with it.
