[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been living with an old freezer, not upright. Finally couldn't stand losing stuff in the bottom. Bought this one. I have so much room I have some plastic bottles of water in it. I keep checking because I never hear it running, but everything is ice cold. So glad I did it.

Perfect For Our Situation

Living in a rural area makes it a need to have supplies brought in from surrounding cities, which offer much better prices, and have a dependable storage unit. This little freezer fit that bill. And the bill for it fit our budget perfect. The local dealer we purchased it from is excellent in all phases of customer service and we no regrets. The only feature or lack of we would have liked is more shelfing to have been included with the unit. We like to divide the frozen items according type and dates also. But overall we were very fortunate to have seen this unit on display at Baker's Furniture and Appliance store when we did. Thank you for the design and size. This unit would serve a family twice our size easily. Thank you again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an owner of a freezer that required manual defrost, I was a little apprehensive with buying a self defrost freezer. Wow, what a mistake! My new Amana is so quiet I check to see if it is still running. The inside capacity is amazingly large and the fast freeze is great! But, coming from a freezer that was approximately 20 years old, I am constantly amazed by the freezer LIGHT!!! I guess you can say you can teach an old dog new tricks!!!!!

Ample storage

I also wanted more freezer space because the old one only had 8 square feet. I am very pleased with my new freezer. It was a great purchase!
