Great Shaver - But.....

This shaver is a big improvment over the previous MSC-140 "Titanium" Model. It fits the hand better, the switch/head guard are a very secure arrangement, it gives a very clean shave, the batteries seem to last a long time, but...the foil mounting plastic rivet attangement is guaranteed to fail in a short time. Fortunately, a review for the older rmodel suggested super gluing the foil in. I followed that advice and was well on the way to tripling the life before getting the new model. I, of course, glued the foil before using it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This little grooming tool is amazing! It astounds me with its close, comfortable shave, compact size, and efficient use of battery power. It also came with some of the best Rayovac alkaline batteries. Remington travel shavers last well over their estimated life of one year. I highly recommend this, as it is a winner!

I give it three stars rather than four or five for two reasons: first, having to rotate the clear plastic protective shield 180 degrees to turn it on is a bit inconvenient, a simple push button switch would be better; second, removing the head cover for cleaning is difficult because it is attached too tightly. The shaver itself works excellently.
