Outstanding Picture

Stunningly beautiful, crisp, clear. The motion flow works wonders (especially on Sunday Night Football). I was afraid my standard cable channels would not look good - but this system takes them and enhances the picture, clear and beautiful. The color is amazing - I can't say enough about this TV. The high definition (even cable) is utterly outstanding. Although my daughter did comment that she "didn't like it - it makes me feel like I am there", she has since come to thoroughly enjoy the system. I cannot comment on the sound from the TV since I have hooked it to the Samsung HT-BD3252 - which works wonderfully - the BluRay playback is without compare on this TV.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My son and I put my new UN46B8500 tv together in what seemed a very reasonable amount of time. Samsung has gone to great lenghts to simplify the process in the accompanying guide books, and the outcome is stunning. The beauty alone of this product is enthralling, and when my son and I first turned on the set after easily connecting to local cable, the first words out of my sons mouth was WOW! The first images were of extreme sking, and I am more than an intermediate skier, blacks and double blacks, and I can honestly say this high def event sent TINGLES down my spine, and butterflies in my stomach, the image was overwhelming. As for the sound it is more than adequate, but with this beauty who in their right mind would not want to include a sound bar. My choice the HT-BD 8200 with the built in Blue Ray DVR player. I cannot wait to hook this wireless theater system up with my son, though we still have to figure out where to place the sound bar system, the TV stand is not long enough to place the sound bar on its stand in front of the televison which was my first intent. Not to worry though between my son, and I, and samsung tech support maybe we can come up with a good idea, with this TV it is a pleasant problem. Finally, being a child of the fifties, when tvs were square boxes, and reception was a never ending problem, this UN46B8500 has me back in front of a tv like in the fifties without the reception problems, and with my stomach full of butterflies!

I just purchased UN46B8500 46" 1080P LED HDTV and all I can say is WOW. The picture clarity and quality are amazing. If you want the best go with SAMSUNG!
