The band looks really great. Then I put my Misfit in it and it wasn't long it popped out, so I put it in again and that time I was lucky enough to find it. Well again it popped out and now it it missing. Miss my Misfit, have had it for several years amd not it is gone, because I wanted the new band. ............

This is my second one I've bought. This new one looks really fake. I do t know if they have changed the way they treat the leather or what but it looks so fake and is so stiff. Not a big fan of it

Leather band for Misfit shine

This is a mixed review. I have had my shine since April of 2014. I teach swimming and must wear a band that kids grabbing does not affect. My first Band the silicon one, failed as the shine would easily pop out. so I added the leather band to my day. Not designed for water, I had to accept I would be adding a new one often. However then the pin came out and the next batches I purchased had something wrong with the leather curing, as when the band got wet, it would cause my skin to breakout. The part the shine rests in, works, but well in holding the Shine secure and in place. but the band options for the water environment and needs to be silicone. I love my shine, recommend it a lot, but I can not accurately record my water time because it's either a rash or the loss of my shine in a flimsy band. I have purchased over 10 bands and the last 6 are very poor quality please make a silicon band attached to a face part like found on that of the leather band.

The band is very difficult to secure. The leather is very nice so if it was a better design it would be a very good watch band.
