Good phone but...

This is my second Windows Phone (first one was 710) and I was very excited to get it. For its price, it's probably one of the best phones out there, and some of the low-end features (like no flash camera, no front-facing camera, low pixel density etc) are explained on the basis of its price. However, a couple of things that are not price-related are inexplicably low quality: My main complaint is the vibrate feature. Like other Lumia phones the vibration is too weak, and on top of that the phone vibrates only once for incoming calls. The result is that, unless you hear it ringing, there is no way you will know someone is calling. Second, the Wi-Fi receiver is also weak. The phone often fails to pick up Wi-Fi signal in places where my other devices connect easily. Third, the battery saver feature, although good in theory, activates at 20%. Which means that you will lose a lot of the phone's functionality when you still have another 15 hours before you will need to charge your phone. I would think that 5-8 hours would be plenty of time to warn someone. One last thing that I haven't fully confirmed yet is that Gmail doesn't always synchronize automatically even when it's set to "as items arrive."
Pros: Personal, Business
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don't buy a Windows Phone if you're a Yahoo! Mail user ... Not yet.

You get what you pay for. I was looking for an affordable $ personal phone. Wanted to give it a try to something different than an iPhone $$$ (have a 5s from the company), or Android (the phone OS most affected by malware). Having said that ... This phone (any Windows Phone?) has a huge no-no for Yahoo Mail users: you cannot sync your contacts with the native client (MS fault?), and there is no Yahoo Mail app for Windows Phone (Yahoo's fault?) ... Other mail accounts (Gmail, Outlook, iCloud) do fully sync emails, calendar and contacts. Very disappointed with MS and Yahoo. The available apps are limited. Not a big issue for me. I got all I need (except Yahoo). A different OS that takes some time to learn ... but you get there pretty quick. For the price I can accept that the camera is just fair resolution, has no flash, and there's no front camera.
