when i first got the nokia lumia 635 it was perfectky fine & then after about 1 month of using it, it just stopped. ill be in the middle of a movie or app & it will either crash or restart. and when i tried to download apps, it wouldnt let me, and would say error. i had to do this review on the computer, because everytime i try to type, it would crash. the only apps it will let me go into is phone, messaging, contacts. everything else crashes. and to top that, they have hardly any apps. they dont have a real instagram app, snapchat, twitter is way out of date, they never update any apps. horrible phone. i wasted my money. i do NOT recommend this phone

Failing

I haven't had this model a year yet and it has already started to fail. I loved it for the first several months even though there were many pet peeves I had about it. My phone occasionally and randomly would restart on it's own but it wasn't too big of a deal because it really only happened about once or twice a month. Unfortunately a few days ago it got stuck in a reboot loop. Taking the battery out didn't work so I decided to remove the SD card I had installed. That ended the constant instantaneous loop however it would still randomly reboot about once per hour or so and a lot of the functions and apps that were installed on the phone stopped working properly. So I finally did a factory reset. It seemed ok at first but then after a few hours (and to this day) certain functions and apps absolutely won't open or function and it STILL randomly reboots enough times per hour that I'm hating my phone now and feel the urge to smash it to bits.

The good, the bad, and the ugly

The Good: Great battery life, solid camera, and doesn't break easy if dropped. The Bad: limited amount of apps in the App store compared to Android. About 90% of the apps I use crash pretty often, about 40% of the time. The Ugly: this phone is good for a smartphone starter but that's it. Mainstream apps like Facebook and whatsapp have limited functional options compared to their Android counterparts. The instagram app is in beta and many others don't exist yet for Windows phone. I'm considering returning to my Galaxy S3.

Great Phone

After much thought I finally purchased the Nokia 635. Let me say I am overjoyed with power, ease of use and features of this phone. Battery life is excellent and lasts well past a full work day.
Things I really like about the phone: 1. automatic syncing with my personnel Outlook and Onedrive accounts in addition to my corporate accounts which are also on Outlook; 2. automatic synycing of my Onenote notebooks and other Office Documents; 4. Comes with Office mobile and all the software you need to work and enjoy life, 3. fluid and intuitive interface; 4. ability to customize the start screen; 4. accepts an SD card to allow storage of more of the things you enjoy; and 5. good voice, WIFI and LTE service on the T-Mobile network. Don't let the scam artists convenience you no apps are available for the phone. I have used the iPhone in the past and one doesn't need 10,000 different music apps to listen to your favorite songs. The apps I wanted were available and I am not wanting for additional more.
This phone provides excellent value considering it's price point. Functionality, is on par with phones costing two to four times as much with the notable exception of the camera. Pictures are subpar with the weak lens and lack of flash. However, I did not buy a phone to take pictures and videos. I purchased it to make my job more efficient and fulfill the needs of my personnel life. With regards to those goals, the phone has greatly exceeded my expectations.
Congrats to Nokia and Microsoft an this excellent offering. I work for neither, but I sure do like their product.

I liked this product very much. The battery life is too good. Display is also excellent. All other features are also good. But the lock button is not working properly. I hope they will enable 'Double tap to wake up' feature in this model also. I highly recommend microsoft to enable this feature so that the problem with my lock button can be overcome.

This phone is a joke

Freezes at least twice a day, takes 30 sec on average to open twitter if it doesn't crash first, navigation on WP is literally a joke, it randomly switches playlists while I'm listening to music, IE won't load half the webpages I try to pull up, if the screen has the smallest amount of moisture on it then the phone becomes even more useless than it already is, this phone has no flash which means you can't use it as a flashlight, often the phone will endlessly be stuck on the "resuming..." screen when trying to open an app or even just go back to the home screen. I have never gotten angry at a phone before but the Nokia Lumia 635 changed that dramatically. If you're looking for a cheap phone with "great Qualcomm processing" please do yourself a massive favor and never even think about getting this piece of garbage. I will be switching to android asap.
