These ink carts always dry out before full use. Also constantly get error messages that say to use genuine HP cartridges. Junk

Hello there,
It sounds like you are encountering two separate occurrences. I would like to apologize for both events. If you order directly from HP, you should have genuine ink cartridges. You can search for your cartridge at www.hp.com/anticounterfeit to verify it is an official one.
As for the dry cartridges, there are several tactics to employ. Small tweaks make a world of difference. Draft mode or print preview avoids extra unusable copies. Using an XL cartridge is great, too. Consider turning off the printer as much as possible. This action prevents drying. Be sure to remove any residue accumulated on the printhead of the cartridge. Avoid wasting extra copies or printing graphics, images, or tables.
The cartridge is fine BUT when the printer resets itself it then displays the screen that directs you to HP REWARDS (to view your account) however the site is BLACKLISTED by my browser as VERY possible tracking and dark web problems.
