Bad Cartridge?

This is based on the first one I bought. It didn't last through 20 pages. The second one seems better...but time will tell. If it happens again no more ink from HP.

I purchased a new printer and thought I was purchasing the cartridges for it but it seems that this one does not go to this printer even though the number is the same as the other cartridges.

Ink waste

The printer refuses to print when the black ink is low, but not gone. I had to install a new, fresh cartridge to print. By looking at the ink supply graphic, the cartridge had 15-20 percent remaining.
This erases the advantage of buying and installing the XL cartridge.

Works well on non-HP printer paper as well a resume quality paper. Heavy bond.

The ink evaporates

The ink 564 ink cartridges do not last very long. I would not have bought the printer had I known how often I would have to replace the ink cartridges. I think the design of the cartridges is poor. HP ink is too expensive to begin with.
