Its black ink. How much is there to say? I do like the smaller cartridge size as my print volume is low and bigger cartridges dry up before I can get to them.

I was so disappointed with this ink cartridge. I installed it on May 9, 2017 and EXACTLY 6 months , to the day, later (Nov 9) I received a “low ink” message on my printer - after having printed LESS THAN 50 pages. They claim 235 pages but that’s no where close to what this cartridge will do. So disappointing!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My friend gave me a printer...it needed 5 cartridges...the colors and 2 blacks. One black was a bit larger than the other. Only after opening the box could I tell where the two black cartridges belong. I bought the same one twice before a sales person clued me in...no markings on the box to indicate that one fit in the sideways hourglass icon and the other in the house icon. It was very frustrating.
Now I can't tell if the cartridges work because the paper won't load for printing.
