While I am satisfied with the product, I find it annoying that it is not offered with the complete set. The black cartridge that comes with the set will not fit in the slot of the cartridge carrier in the printer.

If this issue is only with the specific cartridge, then the cartridge is defective. If this occurs with multiple cartridges would mean this is a greater issue. If the printer doesn’t recognize the cartridge, then check to see if it is fully inserted in the printer. Check to see if that worked. An exchange is always an option at www.hp.com/us-en/shop/cv/returnsandexchanges.
