Either the 564 or 564xl won’t fit in the printer. You labeled and shipped 2 identical size yet the printer requires one thinner. Poor!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I installed the new black ink cartridge and unfortunately I could not print? All pages would come out blank? I have been meaning to call HP but have not yet.

I would suggest using our Print-Scan-Doctor program to get the problem solved. This specifically developed program scans your PC and printer for issues, identifies them and resolves them automatically. Most problems with print quality can be in this way worked out. Couldn't get the cartridges to work, kept them for 1 day to adjust to room temp. but when i inserted them only 1 worked, the yellow. So i bought a new (not HP) printer and am back in business.
