Cartridge will not work in my printer!!! Replaced properly. When I try to print, no black print.

I am sorry that you had this problem. If you checked the ink levels and found no ink, the cartridge could have been defective when you got it and should be returned.
On the other hand, if you do have ink in the cartridge, it is probable that the printhead inside the printer is clogged and not allowing ink through to the paper. There is a cleaning routine available from the printer's menu used to clear out the clogs in the tiny inkjets. The routine might need to be run more than once to clean out the clogs completely.
To prevent this problem always use the power button on the printer itself to turn your printer off. That gives it time to position the printhead so it is protected from excessive drying, which leads to clogs.
