I ordered this as the 564 xl is not available. It is the only one that will fit my printer and would love to have the xl version sometime soon.

Faulty Ink X-cart

New printer received and new X cart's installed. Printer would not install without the little test cart's installed. Take out the X-cart's and put in the test carts. Now the printer will not install because the test carts are for a previous model of HP printer.
1.5 hours into this mess, I find that the yellow X cart is NG. Why not tell me which cart is bad instead of telling me that all are bad?

Wear an apron

Unfortunately I have to recommend this product because it is the one my printer requires. However one ought to wear an apron when exchanging out the ink cartridges. All three other colors worked just fine, but when I twisted the orange cap off the black it began dripping!! Needless to say, this isn't how a person would like things to go.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ink is great, the package is bad

The ink cartridge is fine but a bit difficut to remove the comma-shaped bar that seals the ink opening. The real problem is with the "free" photo-print paper that is included. We don't need it and now have stacks of the packages of paper. We rarely use it.
We would rather want to buy the ink with out getting the paper. Can we sell them back to you?
You may think this is funny. We don't.

564 Black XL cartridge

It is a necessity and I have purchased them without having any idea if they last for the number of copies it says. I was disappointed when I purchased this printer that it requires four separate cartridges: black and each of the three colors. I did not answer "features & Performance" because I cannot answer that question without knowing if I got the # of copies. They are relatively easy to put in and out without getting my hands dirty which is definitely great feature.

Can't use due to printer no longer serviced by HP

HP doesn't make another printer to use this ink cartridge. So here I sit with a full package of the color and black ink, unable to return and unable to use because my printer is no longer servicable by HP.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ordered this with another ink cartridge, had some issues with delivery, but was taken care of in a quick manner. Very happy with customer service. I will purchase again.
