[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Normally shopping HP is easy and fast. My black cartridge came within a couple of days. But the color cartridges took 11 days to arrive!! Unacceptable. I had to hold print jobs. Hopefully this is a one time anomaly.

Expensive, Use Too Much Ink for Set-up/Alignment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] HP ink cartridges are expensive and use WAY TOO MUCH ink to align print heads, adjust quality, print Quality reports. By the time I figured out the problem with my printer, the levels of ALL of the brand new cartridges I just replaced were at the "low" level.

I ;purchased this black cartridge about 6 ago. I was hesitant, but it worked great out of the packaging, even though the box was beaten up. Tried to print out some black documents the other night, and, oh no, no black ink. So I thought maybe the print head wad clogged up. I wiped off the print head with a little alcohol and a cotton swab. the colors still work great, but not the black. I tried to call, but got bounced around a bunch of cues and elevator music, not for me. I am tired of buying black cartridges, and them not working more than a month, after only a few prints. so, I am looking into a laser printer for the house instead of an ink jet. The ink I really need is black, and they never work the way they should. I have always used HP printers, but maybe I need to rethink my purchases on brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
