Installing new cartridges is a lengthy chore. One has to clean the contacts several times before the printer recognizes a new cartridge. Sometimes one has to turn the printer off and on before a new cartridge is recognized,
the situation is completely unpredictable especially if you have to print such as the day before a trip when you try to print boarding passes!

Black ink cartridge printed 3 all black pages as test pages. Notify showed black cartridge less than 1/2 full. Now getting notice that black cartridge is low. Have only printed 20 or so pages that printed correctly. Cartridges too expensive for this to happen.

Please refer the instructions in this document to fix this issue: http://bit.ly/2B8m0Ao If this does not resolve the problem I would recommend contacting HP Support: http://hp.care/2nbNQFi Note that you will need to provide the Warranty Ends date of the cartridge. You can find the warranty end date on the cartridge itself.

564 black ink not worth purchasing

HP Black Ink 564 constantly clogging up printhead on my HP Photosmart 6520 AIO Printer. Only 10 attempts at trying to clean printhead that can not be removed and the cartridge was empty again. I have new cartridges that I wish to give away because I can not solve this problem and would have another save money. I will include the other color cartridges. They worked just fine.
