Does not last long. I use very little, then get the notice that the ink cartridge is low on ink.

HP 564XL Black

The HP cartridge outperforms the generics, however the ink supply is small. The XL has more ink than the regular 564, however since the black ink is the cartridge usually in use, the capacity should be doubled. The earlier versions of the 564XL cartridge contained more ink and should be reintroduced.

Worst purchase ever.

HP 564 XL Black ink Cartridge disintegtrated in my hands while I was unpacking it. Many other cartridges of this type have run out of ink in a matter of weeks wiyh normal home usage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Inkjets are good for limited printing

Like always, HP printers and ink work nicely. The printing costs are pretty high and for high volume printing, it is better to buy a laser.

Great ink - lousy markings

Please please please put the symbols on the box that are on the cartridge - the little bow tie thing. It would make life so easy if you could look at the cartridge you are out of and go buy a package with the same little identifying symbol on the box. You already have a color dot on the packaging just make it the same shape as the identifying mark on the cartridge. Seems like a simple change. It doesn't even need to say photo ink as far as I'm concerned. Just have identical markings in both places and do it on all the inks! Please!
