not enough ink

I've been using printers for many years now, making calenders, cards letters, etc. this is the worse ink cartridge I ever used. I hate this printer the HP photo Premium. I am afraid to do anything with it as it runs out of ink so fast. These cartridges are lousy, but I feel I have no choice at this time. In the future I will be looking for a new printer after much research.

Very Disappointed

I was thrilled with the features and ease of use of my HP Photosmart printer, however, the ink cartridges (all of them) leave a lot to be desired. They are highly overrated by HP; they don't make anywhere near the number of copies HP says they will. They are cheaper per cartridge than other cartridges, but you quickly make up the difference in the number you have to buy. I expected better from HP.

Black Ink Downsize

Was disappointed when I recieved my ink order. I subsequently learned that the larger (double) cartridge is no longer available. This is what I thought I was ordering. We have had the Photosmart Plus printer less than 2 years, do not use it alot but have spent more on ink than cost of printer! Now they have discontinued the larger more economical cartridges. I definely would not purchase another HP printer.

Low output
on February 15, 2012

This cartridge is supposed to make up to 750 prints. I don't see how. I can barely get 250 4x6 prints per cartridge/set of cartridges, and only if I keep printing well past the replacement warning, photo by photo, until I start to see problems. I'm pleased with the quality. HP Vivera inks are bright and beautiful, especially on quality paper like the HP Premium Plus.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This product is not the correct one for my printer. The cartridge is too wide. The black cartridge should be the same size as the coloured cartridges

Ink Cartridges determine my choice of printer
on February 12, 2014

All the 564 ink cartridges are excellent for the performance of printing, copying and photos. The ink blends perfectly for brilliant color features. The photos produce beautifully. The ease of using these cartridges to replace is also very simple in comparison from what I review with other printers. The cost are expensive but relatively reasonable. And the inks do last a long way; the black usually goes quicker than the color all depending how many color printing is performed. I normally purchase the XL which is what it is XL. It saves time from going back to purchase more ink. Reviewing other printers from different manufactures, the 564XL ink cartridges are one of the major reasons I remained with HP for purchasing my all in one printer. These cartridges were the least expensive and seemed the easier to use when it comes to replacing them back into the machine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Shrinking Cartridge
on August 4, 2011

This product must have shrunk in size from the original. Physically, the Black (XL) cartridges I've been using have been 15/16 ths inches in width, while this one is only 9/16 ths. Since this is a gravity opperated device, the 3/8th width difference equates to less product inside as well as installation challanges in centering a small cartridge into a larger slot. I'm not pleased that the price didn't shrink to match the cartridge.
