I'm very sorry that this happened. You could try running the printer's automatic cleaning routine to see if that helps.
If that does not work, check the warranty ends date (printed on the cartridge). If it has not passed, you can get a replacement from us. Just use a contact method found at: hp.com/contactHP
My friend gave me a printer...it needed 5 cartridges...the colors and 2 blacks. One black was a bit larger than the other. Only after opening the box could I tell where the two black cartridges belong. I bought the same one twice before a sales person clued me in...no markings on the box to indicate that one fit in the sideways hourglass icon and the other in the house icon. It was very frustrating. Now I can't tell if the cartridges work because the paper won't load for printing.
