I am not sure if it is my printer (Photosmart 7510) or the XLink cartridge but it lasted less than 100 pages and almost all were black and white photo-no color. I wish there was a way to print using only black. I have replaced the color cartridges several times and still using the same black cartridge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Gives good results and clear photo copies. Does not really last as long as advertised. You will be lucky to get half of the stated copies but still is better than the color in cartriges. The color ink does not last at all and even depletes rapidly when only making black and white copies.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The quality of the ink is very good but the economics is not. Even though it states XL, the cartridge life is low and the cost is high.
I would recommend this to a friend!
