This is a very nice black cartridge for the money. If it is used just to print receipts then it will last quite a few months. Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

As mentioned in the summary, this ink compares well with inks for high end machines. It lasts as long as promised and if used with the right paper and settings, it outputs business quality letters.

I bought my ink just in time as my black in was running low. I put my new ink in my HP printer and it works perfectly. So easy to install the ink and excellent performance.
