Ink cartridge was poorly made. Its electrical connections to the printer were absent, causing the printer to shut down when it was installed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It appears you received a defective cartridge. By the electrical connections, do you mean the copper contacts? Each cartridge is required to have the contacts to print. If yours didn't, then it is unlikely they would print anything. The best course of action is a return. Visit www.hp.com/us-en/shop/cv/returnsandexchanges for further information.
Works OK so far. Purchased to replace defective re-pop that came with missing / damaged contacts. This one also shows signs of previous installation although not labeled as 're-filled' or 're-manufactured'.
