Fair to middling

It is working properly and was relatively inexpensive, though there are a few negatives. The compressor is very loud, there are constant pops and cracks throughout the cycle (sometimes when idle) and there is ice forming in the freezer around the gasket, which I seemingly can't get properly sealed. With the space above the top shelf and deli meat tray would be a nice addition.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For example, during defrost cycles, water dripping onto the defrost heater may cause a hissing or sizzling sound. After defrosting, a popping sound may occur. I hope this helps! Courtney

Great second fridge or basement fridge

I love the size and use of it for our basement. I was dumbfounded to learn (after the purchase) that the freezer does not adequately freeze anything with sugar in it (I.e. Ice cream or Popsicles). Works fine to freeze extra meat but seems silly to make such a fridge with a freezer that only freezes some items. I learned this after having a repairman come as I assumed it was broken when my ice cream was soupy and Popsicles soft.

Marta15, so sorry to hear about your ice cream experience with your refrigerator. Ice cream composition plays a role in its tendency to freeze; ice creams with higher water content may freeze at warmer temperatures than those with higher fat and sugar content. I would suggest storing your frozen goodies in the rear of the freezer compartment on the bottom (cold air sinks) where there is less air flow. not the best...

I bought this fridge in February 2015 and have replaced the handles on the door two times already. I have no children and my mom who's a senior lives with me. We are the only two using the fridge and the door handles continue to Crack along the top where the screws are connecting the handle to the door. My second complaint is that my unit runs very loud.....it's as loud as my older unit I got rid of. I am not very happy with this purchase

Broke after 4 momths

I bought this as a garage refrigerator, as I was told it made for this use. It worked fine for about 4 months and then froze everything in the refrigerator compartment. I have been waiting for almost a month to get it diagnosed and fixed. I would really like it replaced.

The handle broke off right after I installed the refrigerator. Fortunately the manufacturer sent me two new ones for free. I wonder if I was sent two handles because they break so easily.

Good price and size

I bought this in August 2015 and within three and a half months, it started not maintaining proper temperatures. It gradually started getting less cool so I gradually turned the fridge dial colder as well as the freezer slide control until they were eventually at the max cold level but still wouldn't keep the temperature cold enough. Had to have it repaired under warranty and the tech replaced the main control unit. Seems to be okay a few weeks later but I don't trust it and probably won't buy Frigidaire brand again. I bought it because it's supposedly made in the USA.
