[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have purchase this item eight times in eight years and probably have 3 still in use although two are packed away with my recording or performing equipment or in my suitcase so I have it when I travel. I honestly cannot remember 5 of them failing but it's been eight years and I keep buying them. They will accept an AC power source so you don't need batteries and make a perfectly good inexpensive replacement for a failed CD deck in any component system or boom box as long as there is an AUX input port. My most recent unit is now playing through my Boze Wave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it on the 1st of November and it came early! It was delayed to the 12th but came in on the 6th! It plays really beautifully, almost Spotify quality. And it can handle ANY cd you put in it!
