Doesnt Spin

I bought this recently and have had trouble as it just does not spin, I put the cd in and press play but nothing happens
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After 3 CDs played without problems, this brand new device now just blinks "disc".
Swapped batteries a few times... nothing...tried commercial and burned discs...same result. No advice on terms or warnings in the online manual.
I should know better, I guess.
Get what you pay for: nothing.

Question about DC input pin size

What size DC input pin is required. I cannot find this information anywhere. I want to add an auxillary power supply as the batteries run down too quickly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this player as a gift so I can listen to cds on the go. I was surprised at how good it sounds for it's size. It's also a cinch to use. I'm very pleased!
