I bought this as a replacement to my Note 4, and I must admit that my thoughts of the Note 5 to be just a mild improvement were a misjudgement. The Note 5 is vastly improved from the Note 4. I love the ability to use Samsung Pay; so much easier and safer, among other improvements. The display is the best I've seen in any phone (take that, iPhone)! I have no reservations about my Note 5 except that I do wish the battery was user-replaceable, and for a mini SD card slot. I see that the newest S series of phones has put these items back into the phones, so, perhaps the Note 6 will incorporate them back into the phone. But, I am completely happy with my Note 5, otherwise! :-)
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, long battery life, security improvements
I would recommend this to a friend!

This phone helps me a lot in college by taking notes and having my power point on my phone instead of bringing in my computer everyday. I come in class with less books and no pens or notebooks to write notes down I can just take out my no weight phone and get my stylist out and just write my notes. This is the best phone I have have. It's really loud and it does not crash. I can really depend on this phone and also I love it this has been my favorite phone for this year!
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight, it's has a big screen
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good phone until it stopped working!

It was good until one day I took it out of my coat pocket and it was blacked over like it was dropped in ink. Verizon said it was a pressure break. I don't really know what that is but the phone didn't have any damage to it. They made me file an insurance claim to get a new one. So I don't know why all the sudden it stopped working?
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Did not meet expectations, not durable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am absolutely in love with my smart phone. Samsung has made very simple business savvy phones. Running a mobile based business, the note makes it very efficient to run a successful business on the go. I always get compliments about the Note 5 and always recommend it to everyone.
Prior to this phone, I had a note 3 and was happy with it, simply because of the removable battery and the expandable memory in addition to the standard note line features.
I've always liked the note series mainly because of the stylus, I find it very useful, and the builtin features area a great addition which helps me be more productive with my phone.
I switch to the note 5, and have to say that the device is better than I expected, mainly because the battery, even though is not removable, it last longer than I thought. So managing to get through the day isn't difficult. But this is the reason I don't give this phone a full 5 stars. We all know that battery life could be much better if we could swap the OEM battery for an extended one.
On the other hand, the performance for this phone is great, the screen quality is top notch, and the form factor hits the sweet spot, not too small, and not too big.
The speaker could be better, and the location is not ideal because sometimes you block it while holding the phone with your hand.
This phone is pretty similar to the note 4 other than a little bit of design. Features are equal to if not worse than the note 4. No removable battery or memory. Until new updates and maybe some new features with the s-pen no reason to upgrade.
Cons: Did not meet expectations
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's awesome I can work and watch my fave shows from picture quality is beautiful
Samsung really missed the boat with this one. They did not listen to their users and removed the expandable memory and removable battery. With the relatively small battery in this device I have to carry around my battery pack to make it through the day. In the past I could just slap a new battery in and I was back in business. Now I have to charge from external battery and cable to get a charge. Inconvenience I can get around I guess. The memory of 32 is not enough. I transferred the apps and data from my Note 3 and I was already at 42. I had to upgrade to the 64 costing me an extra $100.00. Would prefer to have a 128 microSD card. and be running 160 for less than the cost of the 64 model. I expected a lot more with it having the expanded RAM. I can run more on my Note 3 without any problems. Overall it is a nice phone. I was just disappointed and expected more from this model
