I should have seriously done more homework about this phone before I bought it

This phone is insanely fast but the lack of a MicroSD slot makes me want to go back to my Samsung Galaxy S4. Cloud storage is fine for static files but useless for apps. Cloud storage is also a drain on data plans so care must be taken to ensure you’re on a Wi-Fi connection when using it. And more cloud storage also means more drain on the battery. This is such a great phone that I simply cannot fathom why a MicroSD card slot isn’t there. Consider the fact that the carrier loads over half of the internal 32GB with junkapps you can’t remove without rooting makes this phone a pretty bad choice that I am now stuck with. I should have seriously done more homework about this phone before I bought it.
Pros: very fast
Cons: no microsd slot, waste carrier data plan
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love my Note 5!

I am on-call and this phone does not ever drop calls and has wonderful GPS.
I go to different locations for work; so GPS is important.
This phone is a business tool, not a toy. I have not had time to explore all of the non-business, fun features yet. Everything else will just be a bonus to the already excellent performance of my Note 5.

Going from a Note2 to a Note5 was a no brainer. Sleek, lightweight, fast, captivating. For a guy with big hands it's just right, anything else feels lime a toy. The camera is awesome, the battery is pretty long lasting as well. I love the look and feel of this phone, er I mean phablet.

I enjoy this phone a lot. It is fast and was easy to get up and running. Wished it had micro SD, but not a deal breaker. I love the screen, goes a long with my Table S.

Pros; great big display, rich features, new spen design,wireless charging! Good glass and loud speakers.
Cons: no sd card, rounded edges is unnecessary, ear plug hole at top, nit water resistant, battery life,

I waited 1 year before I wrote a review. The last phone I wrote a review for was a lemon 2 days after the review. I am very pleased with my note 5. Any problem I had was not the phones fault. (Apps, reception, ect.) I use it more than my laptop and my desktop combined. I would recommend the note 5 to anyone.

This phone is great! Love the features, need to learn more of them. The only problem I've had with the phone is the system update. It literally messed my phone up enough that they had to send me a new one (Verizon's customer service was great).

ONE OF THE BEST SMART PHONES I'VE EVER INVESTED IN!

I love new tech, I'm always upgrading or trying out the newest products. But years ago I purchased my first Samsung smart phone (even though I've had many Samsung appliances before they were as hot in the USA as they are now, starting with a huge 32" CRT/Tube TV's when they were an inexpensive noted manufacture) that was a precursor to your touch screen, true smart phone, and I feel back in love with what an awesome everyday tool that cell phones were normally used for because Samsung added so many new features, tools, gadgets, productivity, business assistance & entertainment all in one device that you find yourself never really needing a laptop or computer/PC/desktop ever again! Couple of reasons why people should consider their products are that even though you might purchase the newer model, Samsung sticks to the basics of understanding their device. Meaning that once you've mastered one product, then even with the newer units upgrades, the feel and basic functions remain the same so that you don't have to remaster how to operate a new device amd even if the platform device you've purchased is entirely different, the device still remains familiar to operate. Plus if you read on, you will see that I've even mentioned that you could own one device forever because they are so far ahead of everyone else, but also because they just don't die! But I can't help purchasing the newer models because with each new model they offer so many more useful upgrades, tools, usefulness and flat out awesome newer tech & gadgets packed into their devices that you just can't help yourself!
Now since so many years have gone by and threw out those years I can remember back when I purchased the Note 2 when it first came out..... Well, since then, life was never the same for me! Even though I've had the same phone service provider and phone number for over 24 years now, the only thing that I ever change is when a new note version (not to mention that I own so many Samsung tablets, smart watches & other Samsung gadgets, that I'd probably run out of space if I were to register them all, and I could prove it with serial numbers & pics!) cell phone is offered by my service provider! Then I'm right there, getting the new one! I love their products so much that I don't even sell my old units! I still have the 7" Samsung 4.0+ tablet when it for came to America! I either hand my different devices down or give to deserving, less fortunate people/kids because most all of them still work fine & never seem to die of you take care of them. Plus I have each version of the watches & I just use them to match the environment or my plans for that day. If I'm going to be getting rough & dirty, I use my older unit. Same with my tablets, old ones in my car & new one stays on my desk & last year's model 7" stays on my work bench.
NOW, THE BOTTOM LINE, SINCE I'VE PURCHASED THIS NOTE 5, I COULD SIT HERE AND TYPE AN ENTIRE 'TED TV' PROMO ARTICIAL PRAISING, RAVING ABOUT THE NOTE (Or any & all of my Samsung products) BUT THEN NO ONE WOULD READ IT BECAUSE I'M JUST A "NOBODY" TO ANYONE WHO READS THIS. SO LET ME JUST SAY THIS...... I LOVE MY NOTE SO MUCH THAT I TRULY HAVE NOT TOUCHED MY LAPTOP OR DESKTOP IN OVER 4 MONTHS NOW! YOU JUST DON'T NEED TO! I SHOP, PAY BILLS, WATCH TV & MOVIES, RUN MY BUSINESS, ACCEPT AND MAKE PAYMENTS, I STORE EVERYTHING ON IT TO THE EXTENT THAT I DON'T EVEN HAVE TO CLUTTER MY BRAIN WITH TRYING TO REMEMBER EVERY SINGLE THING THAT IS IMPORTANT TO ME! I JUST HAVE TO PICK UP MY CELL AND THERE IS MY PASSWORDS (SAFELY WITH LOTS OF ENCRYPTION) TO EVERY SITE, ACCOUNT, NOTE, CALLENDER, REMINDERS AND I EVEN FIND MYSELF ADDING NEW FREE APPS EVERYDAY BECAUSE IT JUST KEEPS MAKING ME & MY DEVICE MORE AND MORE PRODUCTIVE AS TIME GOES ON! I DON'T EVEN THINK AT THIS POINT THAT I'D EVER NEED ANOTHER DEVICE, LET ALONE UPGRADE! (Even though I'm going to get the Note 7 soon as I can afford it) Ahhh, I almost forgot, did I mention that it's still a cell phone? Lol! And of course it's the best at being a communication device! It's like a cell phone, text messaging device on steroids! It had so many different ways to customize, personalize and even increase productivity when it comes to communication. SO, EVEN THOUGH I'M A "NOBODY", I JUST HAVE ONE THING TO SAY, AND I PROMISE THAT MY WORD IS SOMTHING I STAND BY. SO I'M TELLING YOU THAT I CAN GUARENTEE YOU WILL LOVE AND APPRECIATE HAVING PURCHASED THE GALAXY NOTE 5 OR ANY OF THEIR SMART DEVICES. You won't go wrong & don't waste your hard earned money elsewhere.

Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable, Lightweight, Built-in speakers, it will replace your desktop laptop computer!, one device does it all!, best sounding communication & entertainment., most reliable wireless features calls to wifi., best battery life of all notes!, most accurate & beautiful touch screen., very durable & well built., features access buttons easy to learn., well design & location of ports speakers & so on., best camera video quality & features & upgrades!
Cons: i wish i made more money to buy a note 7. lol!
