Excellent choice

Upgraded both phones on our plan early to get the Note 5. Have been using the S Pen more and more. Keep finding useful ways to incorporate it into daily use. Very happy with the purchase. The only suggestion I would have to the design is to move the power and volume buttons down a little on the sides of the device. That would would make one hand operation even easier.
Pros: Bright display, sleek, stylish

Style with a Stylus too!

After months of contemplating my next phone after a Galaxy 4, I knew it was done to the Galaxy 6Edge or the Note 5. More than one salesperson over these months pulled out their own personal Galaxy Note to let me feel what they carry every day. The size was right for me.
I have gotten very used to using the smart notes app on my phones. This app is even better with a stylus. When something comes to mind you just have to write down, eject out your stylus and it opens to the app even with the phone locked. Great feature.
I watch a lot of movies on my phone. This is ideal for it (and I got a case with a kickstand to help).
My only concern is the battery life. It seems to drain faster than my Galaxy 4 did. You still get a full days work out of this power-horse, but I am keeping my eye on it to see if during this break-in period it improves or stays as is.
There is no SD card slot on the new Galaxy line phones, so get the memory you think you will need at the time of purchase. My new Note 5 came with 32GB, twice my old Galaxy 4.
Camera is excellent.

Amazing phone!

This phone is beautiful and quick as a whip. It never slows down it seems it's always fast as you could imagine. Great features and the fingerprint scanner is quick to get you going! The display is beautiful and pretty gentle on the eyes considering how bright it is.

One of a Kind

To call this phone anything other than 'one of a kind' would do it a great disservice. The user experience of a Galaxy Note simply cannot be found anywhere else for one reason: the S-Pen, Samsung's catchy name for the active digitizer housed in a silo in the body of the phone. This isn't a stylus, it isn't a finger replacement. It is a pressure sensitive pen input device with palm rejection, meaning you can write on the Note 5 like you would a piece of paper with your palm resting on the surface of the phone and not have that be confused for a user input. The Note 5 is a beautiful top of the line flagship with a beautiful display and camera. There are some downsides, as with any phone. The lack of a removable battery is unfortunate, but understandable considering the design of the phone. The lack of expandable storage via a microSD card slot is clearly an attempt to get consumers to buy the pricier model, which is unfortunate. If you can live without changing your battery or upgrading your storage, the Note 5 is hands-down the best phone on the market, albeit one that will strain your wallet.

Cons: no removable battery, no upgradeable storage

The phone has no lag no bugs nothing wrong with it has awesome features definitely the graphics for games and the sound is awesome very loud just turned up half way nice display screen and touch is right on spot if you are looking to get one I suggest it no flaws in this phone better then the S6 edge

A very good phone with a few glitches

I do like my new Samsung Note 5 with a few exceptions. The first thing I didn't like was the fact that it didn't come with directions. I am one who likes to have directions in-hand, and not on the computer. I find it much easier to have paper in hand and read all the directions. I also would like to have longer USB cords with the phone. Like most of us these days, our phones are plugged into the wall near our beds, and the short cords are not long enough. Now for the phone itself. I wish the programs would close completely when we leave them. I find I have six or seven programs open all the time, and it slows everything down, and sometimes stops the phone entirely. This is a problem. Also, on occasion, a blocked call sneaks through. It also loses the blue tooth at least once or twice a day during a call. Another thing I am noticing is that a message will pop up and disappear before I can read it. If I were to design a phone, I would like a way to to set it so calls from people in my contacts list could ring through, but not others. It would also be nice to be able to add contacts and blocked calls from the call screen as in earlier models. But overall, I love this phone so far.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Lightweight, charges quickly, more manageable size than earlier notes
Cons: does not close programs, it gets stuck occasionally, it looses the blue tooth daily, allows blocked calls through, cannot hear messages without the blue tooth, sound on facebook not always on, short warning for low battery
