Upgraded from a Samsung Galaxy s5. This is a great piece of hardware and takes great pics. Using the stylus is so amazing, you can even write notes when your phone is locked. The battery life is so great and last much much longer than the Samsung Galaxy s5 battery. It is a little heavier in weight than the s5. I love that the speakers are now at the bottom instead of the at the back of the phone is on the lower part of the phone where you plug to charge the phone. I love the new phone charger adapter end. I enjoy the Air Command feature, and hand-writing notes when I want. It's a really great phone :-)
Pros: great battery life, speakers, great stylus for writing :), large screen, samsung pay
Cons: no expandable storage slot., pricy
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great choice to step up to the Note 5 from the S5. Have always loved Samsung products overall but this device is by far one of the most versatile and useful in so many different applications it blows my mind. Only thing I'm having trouble with is it linking to my Samsung smart bluray player for screen mirroring app content like I could do very easily with my S5. As soon as I figure out that trick then I'm 100% satisfied.
This phone far exceeds my expectations of what a phone is capable of, every day the phone seems to make my life easier. I will recommend this phone to everyone that I know, I have been using Samsung phones for over ten years and always will. Absolutely the best phone on the market hands down!!!!!!!
The note 5 is a superb device. The build quality of the device itself feels solid. The camera out performs any other phone I have ever had as well as some point and shoot digital cameras. The processor handles any task you can throw at it without detectable lag. Touchwiz has become lighter but I long for a time when a user is able to remove any unwanted app in favor of a preferred app. This is a phone to recommend to anyone that does not mind the size. My wife has one, I have one, my son is getting one for Christmas and my daughter is getting one for her birthday to replace her Note 4.
The Samsung Note 5 is an awesome phone...however I have nothing to compare it to as all my phones have been a Samsung Galaxy...I really like the note though...
Pros: Bright display, Durable, great features
I would recommend this to a friend!

Everything about this phone is high quality. I had avoided the "phablets" up until now because I was worried about the sheer size, but this really doesn't feel that big. And its actually lighter than my old phone.
Very high quality product...highly recommended.
A couple of comments about some of the one star reviews. I believe some or all of those people either don't actually own the phone or did not do their homework before shelling out for a new phone. like the comments about not being able to use the internet while on a call...totally inaccurate/false. Pen falling out? Even when its not clicked in all the way, you almost have to be trying in order to lose it. No solution for this is perfect, but I can't imagine any better solution that what Samsung has come up with and its certainly better than any other pen/stylus setup I have encountered.
As to the griping about no removable battery and no SD card...well that's true and if those items are critical for you then this is not the phone for you. But are those people saying they didn't bother to check that before buying. It is a design decision not a design flaw. And its a design decision that has mostly become the standard in the industry.
