Easy to use, efficient and time saving!

I was tired of printing labels onto standard paper, cutting them out and then sticking them on envelopes or boxes.
With the label maker I can just copy and paste an address into the program they provide and it quickly prints out a label which I then peel off and slap onto a box or envelope.

You do not need to buy ink which is a huge plus, before I used a standard printer and it was constantly running out of expensive ink.
I would describe the printer as "plug and play", once out of the box the instructions are easy to follow, you effectively plug the label maker in, enter the CD and it's ready to go!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Quick to print. Main software a little tricky to get to grips with at first. Only just started to use so not completely aware of all the tips and tricks but looking good so far.

Really pleased I purchased this item. It's very easy to set up, and has the ability to print very personalised labels, which will be a boon to me.
I think I will be using the continuous label facility more than the individual labels, as I want to put more than just a name and address on them - including simple artwork - and it works just fine, and prints clearly and quickly. No ink cartridges to buy, either!

Just bought the Ql-700, installed the driver and other software and away it went.... what a refreshing change from th ink jet clattering away before doing the job, at least now I can get what I want in a split second... well done Brother.

I bought this printer for my small retail business. It has been, without doubt the best purchase I have made to make my job easier & faster, whilst improving quality and keeping costs low.
The printer is mainly used for printing address labels but have also used the continuous label roll to print Stickers for my kids, jam jars and handy labels to identify boxed stock. The printer was very easy to install, very easy to load extra rolls, extremely fast, and using bargain compatible rolls on ebay, able to print an average sized label of approx 5cm x 6cm using a readable font size (20-24) at less than 1p per label (continous Rolls are 6cm x 30meters long - though smaller sizes and different sized non-continous labels are available).
What made this purchase even better is the software that comes pre-installed on the printer itself. The software is easy to use but still has enough functions to fully customise your label using text, pictures and borders. The software automatically tells you the size of label needed (handy if you want to save money on wasting too much paper in continous mode) or you can predefine the size of label and adjust your text to fit a certain size (I found this brilliant to do jam jars as I measured the circumferece of the jar and printed a custom made label that fit perfectly).

Cons, every item In my opinion has its faults, but I am struggling to think of any improvments to this printer. I guess one would be that it switches itself off after an hour or so, good for the environment I guess, but annoying that I don't have the option to turn that feature off. (if you are sitting at your pc when it wants to switch itself off, you are given the option to leave it on) I kind of wish I had bought the wifi model-but was a lot more expensive.
