I am a smart phone nerd and thought this phone would be slow but it's really quite fast fascinating and stylish with great build every review of Watch set this phone is mid-range but it's actually top quality and very smart and useful for everyday living and use so never listen to specs because they sometimes are very wrong this phone has everything I throw at it
I would recommend this to a friend!

It has been about 6 months I bought my HTC One A9, and immediately I was thrilled about its uniquely stylized design. It has ideal dimensions, a smooth feel, easy sd-card access, and the core of its weight is a lightweight design. That said, the upgraded android system felt up-to-date and fast, though it was not the greatest phone speed available in the market. However, I experienced some unexpected issues about 2 months after purchase, such as an unresponsive internet connectivity and poor reception.
Now, I live in a basement which could explain the latter issues, but I was surprised to know that my prior T-mobile had a comparatively better reception and connectivity, even in the same basement. Certainly, I was not getting all the fuss in the reception with my older phone.
I still love my HTC One and have opted not to switch to a different phone: but I'm careful about conversating while in the basement.

We thought that HTC was a trusted brand, but after having this phone, I'll never be buying one of their products again. There are so many glitches and errors, it's a surprise the phone has lasted as long as it has. It's obvious that the operating system wasn't built for the current android ui.

Camera quality sucks. Ever since my phone replacement this phone has been messing up on me. Always had to restart my phone when something isn't working.

I picked this phone up after I accidently sent my last one (HTC1X) through the wash cycle. Dead to say the least.I wanted to stay with HTC and I'm glad I did. Very intuitive and quick. The service person could not retrieve any data from my dead phone, but my friend at the local CSI was able to find some of my numbers.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Features for the Price

I bought this phone about a month ago and I've been waiting to review it until I had a chance to use it for awhile. My 4 year old LG Optimus G finally had to be replaced (broken power button), and I couldn't afford to buy the latest greatest phone. So I scoured the ATT site to find something with specs, faster than my LG, but something with monthly payments that wouldn't break the bank.
The One A9 may be last years model, but it has great features. The processor specs are great. You can tell when you hold the phone that it is a quality build. The metal back, and the solid feel of the device fit the hand perfectly. Call Quality is great, and the device runs very fast. The speaker quality is also very good.
The best part is, since the device is last years model, I was able to buy a new "Dot View" case for one tenth of the price when the phone was released!
If you are looking for a new phone, but can't afford to pay for a flagship phone every month, this is a great alternative!
