There are times I eat a piece of pizza or ripe fruit and I blow a 0.1 for example. There are other times something i'm digesting causes the breath test to not be accurate. A pretest before blowing into the intoxalyzer saves you false positives and lockouts. Also if you were drinking and think you have sobered up there are times when your body hasn't metabolized the alcohol as you expected. This thing helps you avoid lockouts and worse. A must have.
