This has been a popular device in our family (2 kids early 20s) and also with friends at social events. We think we are responsible and know our limits, but do we really? You may be surprised. Please don't drink and drive!

If you wait 20 minutes after your last drink to use it as instructed, you will get pretty accurate results for such a convenient little breathalyzer! (That is the only hard part about it.) I find this tool is very influential with my boyfriend and potentially friends too. It gives them hard facts they can't deny when making important decisions like driving or not. Because it's a keychain, I always have it with me too. I like the 3 washable mouthpieces.

This is an awesone breathalizer. It's small, discrete, and really accurate. I use a BAC app on my phone that estimates my BAC and this is always within the estimated range. The only downside is that you need to wait 10-20 min after drinking before accurate results, otherwise the BAC will come in too high. However, this is not specific to this device and I believe the same accross the board between all devices.

Had fun using it at the Super Bowl party. I can't say how accurate it is, but one very drunk person blew very high and I only had two glasses of wine and blew below the legal limit. So I assume it's somewhat accurate. The beeper could be a little louder because no one could hear when it was time to blow. And this was just in a regular house setting - not a noisy bar. So, you just have to do as the instructions say and get ready to blow at "2". I like it and continue to carry it on my key chain. Would recommend.

Convenient, fun and accurate

I love this little thing! I really did not think it would be that accurate but if you follow the given (and very simple) instructions you will get pretty darn accurate readings. I bought this like a gag gift to myself, only to be used for entertainment purposes (like a game called "how drunk am I?!") but it has turned out to be really great and my friends all want one. Now it's something my friends want to buy and we have used it all summer. We use it whenever we drive away from a place that has served us alcohol (even 1 drink) and we feel better and safer getting behind the wheel of the car. Having something like this on my key ring also makes you a little more conscientious about your drinking habits. The ONLY problem that I found was that little plastic attachments that are used to let other people try the unit and still stay sanitary, make the breathalyzer innacurate and hard to use.
