I've been impressed with the readings. Readings have been consistent and in my opinion based on my weight they have been accurate. With 2 IPAs I'm just at the legal limit of .08. If I wait 1/2 hour and drink some water it starts decreasing. I've checked it every 15 mins and it drops slowly. If I do multiple readings in a short period of time I get consistent results. Great little unit.

The device is obviously cheap, but that is what I was looking for. It is only reliable when the tester has a rinsed-out-mouth and has not consumed alcohol for 15 minutes. When used according to the directions I believe it gives a reliable and accurate reading. It is quite easy to use, however, if you do not have a rinsed-clean mouth the device may display an inaccurate reading of your actual blood alcohol content. If you are using this to determine if you are too drunk to drive, please, just take a cab.
