Overall good program for deductions. Used TurboTax for years with no issues.
What's great about it: Step by Step processes
What's not so great: Still vauge on 1098 credits for re-finance

Easy and Thorough

Much improved over the past years. Easy to navigate, complete in all details, and accurate in all calculations. Printing of forms is a snap. I like that I can save my returns in PDF format.
What's great about it: Best version yet
What's not so great: Additional state returns are a little expensive.

TurboTax review

I have used TurboTax for many years. I tried one other brand of tax prep one year, but didn't like it as TurboTax is more concise and "friendlier" to use.
I find that using TurboTax gives me peace of mind as it guides the user through the steps and doesn't miss any aspect of tax preparation. I especially like that it gives you your audit risk. I use it with confidence each year.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Clear directions.
What's not so great: some of the topics could be more in depth

Free state tax would not work

Still a great solution to doing your taxes and ensuring they are right so you don't get audited.
What's not so great: Every time you recheck an IRA type line item it makes you re-answer the question about age when you took the withdrawal.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Good but surprisingly not great

TT shows summary pages of Income, Deductions, etc but doesn't give the option to just print the box...
TT, on initial install, asks for all the information that prior returns and installations already have. Why no button to say "returning user" or the like which, like return transfer, would just transfer the info.
TT asks for prior year info from State returns that it also has if tax payer used TT in prior year...why not input this automatically vs. forcing user to get into prior year's files?
I have more but this is enough negative for now. Overall a great product.
What's great about it: Great Tax Program...very thorough
What's not so great: Poor screen print options and dumb requests for info TT already has
