it's always a pleasure being guided through turbo tax. it makes handling business effortless. Turbo tax updates regularly to stay up to date and current.
What's great about it: seamless smooth transitions.
What's not so great: need more side links to gather info.

There was no easy way to deduct a contribution of mutual fund shares to Fidelity Charitable Fund.

I was very nervous about doing the taxes myself....aside from how easy and user-friendly turbo tax was, it also made me understand more about what was taxed and why....I cannot recommend Turbo tax highly enough..thank you....
What's great about it: I was so hesitant about doing the taxes myself...Turbo tax made it so easy and anxiety free!!!!!
What's not so great: Nothing that I can think of.....

Another easy filing experience

I have used TurboTax for at least 10 years [even if it had another name long ago]. The program makes it easy from the beginning by transferring all of last year's information into this year's return. The EasyStep process might seem tedious to some but it works for me. Of course, you need to get your paperwork in order before you begin.
This year I filed for free; I don't remember if that was the case last year, but it certainly is another perk.

What's great about it: Easy Step makes preparing and filing a breeze. This year seemed to better than ever.
What's not so great: None this time.

EASY FILE

VERY WELL DONE SO THAT IT CAN BE COMPLETED BY THE AVERAGE FILER. I ENJOY BEING ABLE TO DO THE SAME BASIC FILING YEAR TO YEAR, HOPE THIS KEEPS UP UNTIL THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT GETS TO MAKING IT REAL SIMPLE, LIKE ON A POST CARD.
What's great about it: UNDERSTABLE, QUICK, GOOD COVERAGE, COMPREHENSIVE, REASONABLE, UPDATED.
What's not so great: NO ISSUES

TurboTax 2015 Pros and Cons

The program is a memory hog - it hung up numerous times while calculating. A turn-off auto-calculating option would be a GREAT idea.
What's great about it: Thorough program - easy to use
What's not so great: Extremely slow

I have use other tax programs and they were good and accurate just like Turbo Tax. I did two programs this year and they both came out within a couple of dollars. I have done this in the past with the same results.
So it comes down to witch one you like.
