Great ..but

I love Turbo Tax - but....they charge for electronically filing state taxes. If you add the price of the software with the price of that...you may have enough to pay for a cpa to do your taxes. I think that this fee should be eliminated.
What's great about it: Painless
What's not so great: backend charges
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

1st time purchase cd

We have used TT for almost 10 years through employer discount. First year we purchased CD. Inserted CD received error. Customer Service very friendly & helped resolve issue.
Unfortunately, last year's tax return info couldn't be accessed nor did it automatically populate.
Next year will not purchase CD but will download from website directly. Hoping there will not be the same issues as this year.
What's great about it: Guided me through the process.
What's not so great: Unable to pre-populate last year's tax return

I have used the program for about 5 years now, and i will never go to another program.
What's great about it: Easy to Use, Quick
What's not so great: Doesn't Tell you about the state e-file fee.

Great Software

Extremely solid software. I've used this since 2006, every year I've had an income. Never a complaint. But the kind of pushy way the software wants to sell you solutions gets old.
What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: Too much self-promotion
